About Mr. Chaju
茶橘先生的茶馆 — the tea house of Mr. Chaju.
He is an orange tabby who keeps a small tea house. Blue scholar's robe, round glasses, a cap with a tassel that never quite sits straight. He does not make speeches. He pours.
The house follows the solar terms because that is how the people who taught him bought flowers and fruit: a little early, a little late, never by the grocery flyer. Each month the box holds a few blends for the term that is in the room.
Chaju is a working English name for 茶橘, tea and tangerine. The peel in the frost box is the other half of the name. If you write to the house, write to the keeper, not to a brand department.
